A Suitcase Full of Memories | מזוודת הזכרון
The Memory of the Holocaust is a central part in Jewish identity, especially for the young generation in the Diaspora and Israel. The Jewish People educate the next generation to turn the memories of the past into the values of the present and the future.
The Suitcase Full of Memories educational program was written, in order to connect students from Twin Schools, by jointly hearing the memories and stories of Holocaust survivors and learning the Jewish and Universal values of “Beloved is humankind for it was created in the image (of God)", and the value of doing kindness with every human being.
The students will learn about their identity, while getting to know their twin school peers' identity as well, by exchanging the products of joint learning.
** The program has four units – two for elementary school students and two for middle schoolers
