Jewish Identity and Homeland (Middle & High School) | זהות יהודית ומולדת - (תיכון)

A series of short activity units that deal with the connection between Am Israel (Jewish people) and Eretz Israel (the land of Israel). Students will examine their personal connection to the land as well as looking at the communal connection of Am Israel to the land through reading the Israeli Declaration of Independence. Together we will learn about points of similarity and difference with regard to these issues between Jews living in Israel and Jews in communities outside of Israel.

יחידות פעילות קצרות העוסקות בקשר שבין עם ישראל לארץ ישראל. התלמידות והתלמידים יבררו את נקודות החיבור האישיות שלהם לארץ ישראל ויבררו את הקשר שבין עם ישראל לארצו כפי שמשתקף ממגילת העצמאות. נלמד יחד על נקודות דמיון ושוני בין הקהילה היהודית בארץ ישראל לבין הקהילה היהודית בתפוצות.
